This painting is inspired by Sam's autumn evenings as an outdoor guide in Colorado. One specific place that means a lot to him is a cabin that overlooks a pond, a mountain, and a g rove of Aspens. Made with Sam's signature style of using water and acrylic paint to add transluscent layers to canvas, this painting explores the depth and mystery of the autumn season.
