In 2006, I had just started full-time in the art biz in Collingwood, Ontario, and within a couple of months of putting myself out there, I had a hefty line up of commissioned paint ings. During these early years I must have painted the main street of historic Collingwood at least 12 different times, 12 totally different ways! Since I can’t personally do the same-ish painting twice, I came up with anew approach each time to keep it fresh for myself. “Sunset on Second” is one of my acrylic on canvas versions of the main street with its brilliant sky and long shadows 😊 I no longer accept commissions.
