14 x 18" Some good friends of ours live just outside of West Ashley, in a little town called Hollywood, South Carolina. They have a great long dock that faces this view of the Stono River, as it winds and curves through the marsh and turns into little creeks. About six or seven years ago in the late summer, we camped out in their backyard with a group of good friends one night. We grilled out, swam in the creek til all hours of the morning, and barely slept at all. It is one of my fondest lowcountry memories. The sunset was spectacular- which is why I keep painting it! This is an original piece created with acrylic paint and Neo-Color crayons on a birch wood panel. The sides are painted white and it is signed by Elise.
