I think of the self as layered rather than whole. Experiences, memories, cultural traces overlap, sometimes aligning, sometimes clashing. Emotional states remain unresolved, existi ng in tension — and that tension is where my work begins. I am drawn to moments where the inner and outer touch, where something personal becomes recognisable beyond the individual. Sunset Register began as a temporary paper collage, assembled knowing it would be taken apart. The photograph is not a record, but a continuation. What remains is a trace — light, colour, and form suspended between presence and disappearance. Show more
