Any device under continuous electrical load emits a thermal signature detectable by IR optics, drone-mounted thermal cameras, and FLIR targeting systems—especially in winter or against cold-ground backgrounds. Built from multi-layer phase-change composites, these coverings suppress, absorb, and redirect infrared emissions, cutting surface emissivity from a standard 0.9 to below 0.1 and shrinking the unit's detectable footprint.
