Before applying, clean the surface area with an alcohol-based cleaner and allow to dry. We recommend using masking tape to mark the area before attempting to fit. Once the surface is clean and dry gently heat the badge and the surface it is to be applied to using a hair dryer or heat gun (take care using a heat gun if near painted surfaces). This will aid the adhesive process. Align the Sun strip in the correct position and Felt squeegee the banner to the glass working from the centre point outwards, applying reasonable pressure. If you get any air bubbles or creases, lift the vinyl up slightly and try again. Before proceeding with this step, ensure you’ve squeegee’d the vinyl as much as possible up to the edge of the glass. Use a sharp craft knife to trim the excess vinyl at the edge, being careful not to cut yourself, or any rubber seals on the edge of your windscreen. Once the sun strip is applied repeat the same steps for the Autobeam logo. Do not pressure wash or use wipers for at least 24 hours.
