A pretty Pinot which has been aged in 50% new French oak for 16 months. About ⅓ of the clusters are whole during fermentation giving the wine some backbone and depth. After 30 minu tes in the glass, the wine opens up to a bouquet of ripe red fruits, orange peel, nutmeg and graphite, with fresh strawberry dominating. The palate is an interesting mix of macerated bing cherry, cloves and black tea. This wine has medium-plus acidity and an elegant, lingering richness on the finish. Only 90 cases produced. Show more
