He divides his time between South East Asia an d Assam, overseeing his farms, from which this oud wood is harvested. On our last visit with him, he presented this oud wood, saying that there was finally a farm-raised oud wood that offered a complex scent profile similar to other Assam wild oud woods. These are smaller pieces with an impressive amount of resin. Notes include cinnamon, chicory, roasted hazelnut, and burnt sugar amongst others. Not too sweet, as is common with Indian oud woods, but a lovely scent profile which is great for fumigation. Show more
