Leather World Technologies Super Binder Super Binder is a leather dye binder additive and coating crosslinker for water-based acrylic and polyurethane systems. Use as a binder/crosslinker in leather color coatings, vinyl refinishing coatings, and plastic coating applications to improve adhesion, toughness, water and solvent resistance, and abrasion resistance for a durable OEM-style finish. Water-based polycarbodiimide crosslinker Improves adhesion and coating durability Enhances scuff, scratch, and abrasion resistance Compatible with water-based urethane systems Super Binder is a water-based polycarbodiimide crosslinker formulated to enhance the performance of leather, vinyl, and plastic coating systems. It is compatible with most acrylic and polyurethane binder systems and improves long-term durability without affecting flexibility or surface feel. Super Binder is REQUIRED for plastic substrates to ensure proper bonding and long-lasting performance. When used on leather and vinyl, it is optional but provides the same improvements in durability and resistance. Once mixed, product must be applied within 4–6 hours. If more than 6 hours pass, add fresh Super Binder before application.
