This product is built using raw aluminum and stainless materials. Some surfaces may show minor flaws from the machining and forming processes during manufacturing. These will not affect the quality or strength of the mirror brackets, light sanding can easily touch up any imperfections that may be present.These mirror brackets are a bolt-on upgrade for your tired, rusty and worn out OEM mirror brackets. These are designed for better fitment, durability and looks without sacrificing the nostalgia of the originals. They consist of machined 6061 Aluminum bracketry and our own proprietary 303 Stainless pivot/lock mechanism. Completely serviceable, very easy to install and use your OEM mounting gaskets. Stainless hardware is also included. Additional Details: Shims are included to allow use of the popular "Slide n' Lock" mirror extensions. Mirror Heads are not included. Your existing factory mirror will fit directly onto these mounts. New hardware is provided. New aftermarket mirror heads will fit also. These are NOT a bolt-on replacement if your truck has the Factory Sport (Nemo) or Four Post Factory Tow Mirrors.
