Following the hugely successful Bordeaux Baller Bash, where we brought together the 2005 First Growths (and others) for a special dinner, we sourced another groundbreaking set of wines: The first epoch (1968-1987) of leading SuperTuscans from the exceptional 2015 vintage, 10 years on. Over dinner at the Italian Greyhound, we worked our way through a horizontal tasting of pioneering wines including Sassicaia, Tignanello, Solaia, Ornellaia, Masseto and many more, all from the legendary 2015 vintage, which are starting to enter their drinking windows. These are the names that began a vinous revolution in Italy, and put Tuscany on the fine wine map for many wine lovers. They defined a style and continue to set a benchmark for winemaking today.
