(Verbena) Give your annual combinations a bold splash of royal blue with Superbena® Cobalt™. As close to blue as they come, the clusters of small deep purple flowers make up the bloom of Cobalt™. Standing 6-12 inches tall and spreading/trailing up to 18-36 inches, Superbena® make a great selection for hanging baskets and container combinations. The Superbena® series of verbena are the most vigorous in our collection. These drought-tolerant, heat-loving annuals bloom from early summer well into fall. Planted in full sun to part shade locations with regular watering. Superbena® Cobalt™ verbena has been bred for excellent disease resistance and continuous blooms with no deadheading required. Fertilize with a continuous release fertilizer when planted and repeat about every 6-8 weeks. Container plantings require more fertilizer than landscape plantings.
