Without strong uplink power, calls are disrupted or dropped entirely. The gain of the system influences how much indoor coverage area can be provided. A higher gain means larger boosted coverage. Depending on outdoor signal strength, the Flare can boost signal from up to a maximum of 3,000 sq ft with strong existing signal, or down to just a small room if the donor cell signal is extremely weak.
