These 24" x 48" size flexible truncated domes pads offer advantages not found in hard tiles made of ceramics, fiberglass or other composites. The heavy-gauge urethane material of this product, reinforced for even more strength and durability, allows these flexible ADA pads to be applied to slightly irregular surfaces, or on slight inclines/declines in ground level.Slip resistance ratings are excellent and longevity of these reinforced ADA dome pads exceeds the five-year minimum required by federal law. Hard enough to offer required audible detection from the tapping of a cane, but having a slightly spongy resilience makes these urethane truncated domes virtually unbreakable. Detectable warnings that are installed must meet the following requirements. They shall consist of raised truncated domes with a diameter of nominal 0.9 in (23 mm), a height of nominal 0.2 in (5 mm) and a center-to-center spacing of nominal 2.35 in (60 mm) They shall contrast visually with adjoining surfaces, either light-on-dark, or dark-on-light.
