This method of surface crochet for knitters is a super easy way to do color work without having to carry your contrasting color. Teaching ArtistLavanya Patricella has been a fiber artist for 20+ years. She designs knitting patterns and teaches knitting classes. Lavanya is a Mother of 3, an organic gardener, and a photographer too. Skills & MaterialsThis is a beginner+ workshop and students will need to know how to knit a swatch (cast-on, knit, purl, and bind-off). No previous crochet skills are required. The workshop fee includes a crochet hook and yarn for completing the duplicate stitching. Students are responsible for the swatch yarn and creating a small swatch in advance.
