Prior to taking this image I remember I was in a mad rush to get from my house to the beach. I woke 20 minutes late but knew the sunrise was going to be something special. After quickly putting my water housing together I realised I was in a pretty special location and thankful for my knowledge of the local wind and water conditions.After putting on my wetsuit and quickly jumping in the water I waited for the sun to rise. Before I knew it the sky started to light up with beautiful orange and purple hues which were then reflected beautifully on the ocean's surface.
