I am choosing to let it pass. On a daily basis, emotions aren't just feelings; they are overwhelming, physical events. For a long time, my only defense was to stay rigid. I thought if I just clenched my jaw and choked on that jagged, heavy ball in my throat, I could resist the most human part of living, feeling. I thought if I stayed contained, the storm of myself couldn't break me. But I’ve realized that trying to manage the pain is more exhausting than the pain itself. Resisting only adds a layer of regret and misery that keeps you from ever reaching the other side. Refusing to acknowledge your feelings is refusing to acknowledge yourself, and that's a neglect we can not put onto ourselves. "Surrendered" is a conscious decision to feel. It is the moment I stop fighting the tide, let it carry me to where I now need to be, finally letting the tears fall—not because I’m broken, but because I’m cleansing myself with the tears that pass through me, the cries and screams that pass through me. By experiencing these feelings as exactly what they are, I am meeting myself. This isn't a defeat; it is the only way to truly understand who I am and come out the other side as myself, maybe not a better version, but a more honest version. This is the silence of acceptance, that moment where you know exactly how to be, you let the pain be what it is, pain but fleeting. The addictive calmness that comes from honesty within. The "Stipple Dribble" Legacy Commitment Every piece I create is a part of a personal journey. My hope is that it brings you the same clarity and honest reflection it brought me. However, art belongs where it is needed most. If you ever feel you have outgrown this piece, or if the lesson it holds for you is complete, please do not discard it. My door is always open. You are welcome to return it to my studio at any time so that its story can continue with someone else who may need its silence. Measurements Height Width Depth
