After watering your plant the Sustee device absorbs moisture at the root level, just like your plant. As the level of absorbed water rises (takes 10-15 minutes), the indicator gradually turns blue. Then just leave the Sustee where it is. You will know it's time to water when the colour changes from blue to white. It really is that simple!
