The Sutton E457 is a 4 flute 60° chamfer endmill in 4 sizes with 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm shanks. It is made from solid carbide (VHM) with a TiAlN coating, has straight flutes and a DIN 6535 HA plain shank (h6 tolerance), and is for chamfering and deburring component edges.The straight flute form is designed for smooth cutting, and the 60° form sets the chamfer angle. Solid carbide holds its edge in harder materials, and the TiAlN coating is designed for longer tool life.
