New patches inbound. ⁠.⁠⁠The presence of patches can be traced back to the 3rd century BC when Roman Senato r Cato commissioned the agricultural class to weave them into their clothes to signify their social status. In the military, they were adopted as a way to distinguish different military companies from one another, a practice that is still done to this day. Some are easily recognizable, while others are intended as a nod to those in the know - secretive units and skunk works projects clouded in mystery.⁠.⁠⁠Patches have always been used to identify as much as they have been a means of repair. Nothing could better summarize SWAE's mission in both senses. We aim to take on challenging mechanical feats in both our apparel and automotive pursuits.
