Exclusive to Summerton Whisky Club in the UK, Morris Cellar Reserve Muscat Barrel Australian Single Malt Whisky was our June 2025 Club Bottle.Bottled at the higher ABV of 48% versus the standard release, this expression was produced exclusively for their distillery shop, but we were given the chance to share with Members in the UK. It has everything that's great about the standard Muscat Barrel release but with more intensity and greater depth of flavour. Casks Used: Primary maturation in combination of French & American oak ex wine casks, followed by an extended maturation in barrels which have held MORRIS multi-award-winning Muscat fortified wine. 70CL • 48% ABV Tasting Notes: Colour: Deep rich copper with reddish hues.Nose: Rich with dates, figs and sweetness of dark molasses.Taste: Well balanced and complex. Dried fig, sweet malt, vanilla and spices with creamy mouth feel.Finish: Superb oak influence, lovely finish with satisfying after taste that lingers on the palate.
