The brand was founded in 1921 by designer Erik Flemming and exists to this day. They are a brand that has produced outstanding silver workmanship and a number of jewellery designers. At the time of its founding, the brand quickly gained status and prestige and was awarded the Swedish Royal Warrant. The brand was also exhibited at the Chicago Exposition in 1933, and its sophisticated designs led to the post-war art deco trend. It has been altered from the original, perhaps because the clasp was missing or an attempt was made to resize it. However, it is a slightly more affordable way to experience the essence of Scandinavian jewellery. This is one of those pieces that I wish someone would love and find as part of this piece of history, including this repair.
