Sweet first. A little heat right behind it. Lane’s Sweet Heat Rub starts with brown sugar and savory spices, then brings in cayenne and sriracha for a kick that keeps you coming ba ck. It has enough heat to make things interesting without overpowering your food or sending anyone running for a glass of milk. This one was practically made for chicken wings and ribs, where the brown sugar caramelizes as they cook and helps build a beautifully seasoned crust. It’s just as good on pork chops, chicken thighs, salmon, shrimp and grilled vegetables. Smoke it, grill it, bake it or toss it into the air fryer. Sweet Heat is an easy way to add that sweet-and-spicy flavor everyone reaches for first.
