Originally released in 1992 under the title A, a version of the original album expanded to include various bonus tracks, entitled The Answer, was released three years later. Andy S cott once again succeeded in putting together a top-class line-up, consisting of Mal McNulty of Slade, Bodo Schopf of Eloy and MSG, and Steve Mann of MSG and Lionheart. With The Answer, Sweet managed to reinvent themselves without losing sight of their roots. The songs feature timeless hard rock with metal influences, yet always remain unmistakably Sweet.
