Sweetscent aka Marsh Fleabane is an annual or short-lived perennial herb in the aster family. It thrives in wet coastal areas or along lakes and ponds in moist to wet soil with ful l sun. It is great for naturalistic landscapes and habitat restoration. It is moderately salt tolerant but not dorught tolerant. It blooms flat-topped clusters of pink flowers summer to fall that are attractive to pollinators.
