This pattern in Bedfordshire techniques is designed and sold to raise money for the Swimathon in 2025. It is a floral pattern with adding in and throwing out of pairs. Every patter n sold will give a donation to the charities supported by the Swimathon foundation and to raise awareness of the swimmers taking part throughout the UK. The pattern sheet price will donate £2 from every sale to Swimathon 2023, and every Ready to work pattern will donate £5. The pattern uses Presencia Finca 60 thread or equivalent and a fine metallic thread such as Madeira metallic 40 - approximately 50 pairs and 3mm sequins. Different colours give very different effects. It is somewhat easier than the last few and although is a floral design in that you have to add and throw out pairs, it is aimed at the lacemakers with some knowledge who might be just starting floral designs and want something relatively quick to make.
