The Swix Poly Sticks or P-Tex Candles are for perfect for repairing all your small scratches or base repair needs at home. The gouge or scratch should have any loose base material removed with a sharp utility knife and then lightly sand the damaged area. Next the area should be cleaned with base cleaner or wax remover and once dry the poly stick should be set alight and dripped into the gouge until level or higher than the base. Once cooled the area can be sanded and smoothed out with a steel scraper and fine grit sand paper until level with the existing base. Show more
