The Sound Town SWM16-MAX is a compact wireless microphone and karaoke mixer system engineered for clear sound, easy operation, and broad compatibility. It includes two durable metal handheld microphones operating on UHF 550–590 MHz with 16 selectable channels (8 per microphone) for a stable, interference-free connection that meets FCC standards. Equipped with multiple connection options—HD IN, HD OUT (TV ARC), Optical (Toslink) IN/OUT, 3.5mm (AUX) IN/OUT, and Bluetooth—the SWM16-MAX integrates smoothly with smart TVs, soundbars, receivers, and amplifiers. Bluetooth integration allows for streaming background music from compatible devices such as smartphones and tablets. The system works seamlessly with popular audio setups including Bose Soundbar 300/500/700, Bose Solo, Sonos Beam, Vizio, Samsung, and others. The HD ARC connection allows direct audio extraction from a smart TV by linking an HDMI cable (not included) between the TV’s ARC port and the SWM16-MAX’s HD OUT (ARC) port. Once connected, enabling ARC, selecting PCM, and choosing external speakers ensure proper audio routing. If HD ARC is not available, Optical and AUX inputs provide reliable alternatives for the same high-quality performance. The mixer connects easily to soundbars, powered speakers, or receivers via Optical or AUX output, blending vocals and music for balanced sound without additional components. Combining a wireless microphone receiver and sound mixer in a single compact unit, the SWM16-MAX features independent volume knobs for each microphone, along with shared echo and tone controls to fine-tune the overall microphone mix. The system supports two included wireless microphones and up to two additional wireless microphones (SWM01-U2HH, not included). Each microphone is built with a pop filter that minimizes plosive sounds and delivers smooth, consistent audio. Ideal for karaoke, parties, conferences, weddings, and live events, the SWM16-MAX provides professional, balanced sound suitable for meeting rooms, auditoriums, schools, churches, and small stages. It offers multiple input/output options: HDMI IN, HDMI OUT (TV ARC for audio input from a smart TV), Optical (Toslink) IN/OUT, and 3.5mm (AUX) IN/OUT, making it compatible with a wide range of devices, including smart TVs, home receivers, soundbars, and more. EASY TO SET UP: The HDMI ARC and Optical inputs on the SWM16-MAX karaoke mixer extract audio from a smart TV, blend the music and vocals, and send the mixed signals to a soundbar or amplifier (HDMI cable not included). INTERFERENCE FREE: The wireless microphone system operates on Ultra-High Frequency (UHF, 550–590 MHz), reducing the likelihood of interference compared with VHF systems. It offers 16 selectable frequencies (8 per microphone) and is compliant with the latest FCC regulations. TWO IN ONE: The wireless microphone receiver also functions as a sound mixer and is equipped with rotary controls. Separate volume knobs allow independent adjustment for Mic A and Mic B, while echo and tone controls affect both connected microphones simultaneously. The system also offers the option to add up to two additional wireless microphones (SWM01-U2HH, not included). Ideal for conferences, broadcasting, weddings, karaoke, social events, and small to medium-sized venues such as meeting rooms, auditoriums, schools, churches, and small stages. CONNECTION DIAGRAM: 1.
