Blank page sketchpad Sybil Connolly was a Dublin-based fashion designer who was known for creating fashion from Irish textiles, including finely pleated linen, wools such as Báinín, Limerick and Carrickmacross lace, and later for her work with brands such as Tiffany & Co. Her fashion label's clients included Jacqueline Kennedy.These beautiful limited edition prints are from her sketchbook and have been printed on fine quality paper. This sketch in particular shows a full-length strapless evening dress. It has a fitted bodice and a gathered skirt. There is a ribbon round the waist with a corsage at the mid-front. A smaller sketch shows a short cape with a frilled edge over the dress. A4 All proceeds go to the conservation of our Sybil Connolly Collection.
