Sync 4 Plug-and-Play Harness Upgrade to Sync 4 without cutting, splicing, or soldering wires. This harness makes it easier to install a Sync 4 system with an 8", 12", or 13" screen while keeping a clean factory-style connection. You can also add an optional APIM-to-screen LVDS cable if your upgrade requires one. When Do You Need an LVDS Cable? 8" Sync 4 screen: You can usually reuse your factory Sync 3 or base Sync 8" LVDS cable. 12" or 13" Sync 4 screen: A new LVDS cable is required. Need more clearance behind the display? Choose the right-angle LVDS cable.
