The palate is juicy and tingles with natural acidity. Flavours of red currant, blackberry and raspberry balance the structural tannins and grippy finish.Vineyards:Sourced from a single vineyard at the southern end of McLaren Vale. The site is less than 2km from the ocean, and this proximity has a moderating effect on the microclimate.Winemaking:Hand picked and hand plunged in open ferments for 8 days. 50% whole bunch, with the remainder whole berry. Pressed to seasoned hogsheads for secondary fermentation and four months of maturation. No acid additions or fining.
