One of the family of Lilacs. This is a deciduous, upright shrub with dark green leaves. In spring it has panicles of fragrant, double lilac flowers. Best grown in a sunny position in a moist yet well drained soil.Features: As a guide this plant can grow to 300cm x 300cm When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost.
