System Sensor PIBV2 — supervisory switch that monitors the open position of post indicator and butterfly control valves.A sprinkler control valve left closed disables every head downstream of it, and the closure is silent, so valve position is supervised, not inspected. The PIBV2 attaches through a 1/2" NPT nipple; its bi-directional actuator suits rising or falling flag installations and breaks away for shorter valves without cutting the shaft. This device supervises valve position only — it is not a waterflow switch.
