System Sensor SPRL — red, wall-mount L-Series evacuation speaker. Speaker only, no strobe. Voice evacuation layouts need speaker-only points wherever audibility is required but visible notification is already satisfied — back-of-house rooms, stair landings, corridors covered by a strobe. A rotary switch sets line voltage and another the wattage tap, so a single part number covers 25 V and 70.7 V systems. The mounting plate shorting spring lets wiring be continuity-checked before the speaker goes on. Speaker only — no strobe and no candela rating; the speaker strobe sibling is SPSRL Dual voltage 25 or 70.7 Vrms, rotary selected; taps of 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 W UL output 79, 82, 85 and 88 dBA at 10 ft across those four taps 400 to 4,000 Hz; 50 VDC max supervisory voltage; UL 1480 Mounts to a 4 × 4 × 2-1/8" back box Flush mounting needs no extension ring; surface mounting requires the SBBSPRL back box, ordered separately. If the drawing calls for a speaker strobe, this is the wrong part.
