Syvecs EGT Sensor The Syvecs EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) Sensor is a professional-grade K-Type thermocouple designed to withstand the extreme thermal environment of a high-performance exhaust manifold. Monitoring EGT is a critical part of engine tuning and safety, providing a direct measurement of the combustion temperature within the cylinder. This data allows the Syvecs ECU to detect fueling imbalances or ignition timing issues before they lead to catastrophic engine failure. Unlike standard thermistors, this K-Type thermocouple is capable of measuring temperatures exceeding 1000C with high accuracy. When paired with a Syvecs EGT-to-CAN or EGT-to-Voltage amplifier, it provides the ECU with the millisecond-level feedback required for individual cylinder fuel trimming and advanced engine protection strategies.
