Syzygium Big Red is a dense lilly pilly with large, glossy leaves with gorgeous dark crimson new growth which contrasts beautifully with the mature green leaves. White summer flowe rs are followed by edible fruit. A great feature, screen, hedge or topiary plant that can be grown in large pots. Big Red responds very well to pruning making it an excellent plant for hedging and screening in residential situations. Mulch well to keep down weeds and conserve soil moisture.
