If you’re looking for a folding stem, we recommend the Terracycle Glideflex as the best on the market. It’s light, strong and durable, and sets the standard for demanding everyday use. The TerraCycle GlideFlex has exceptional smoothness, a unique set and forget design, and safety features found in no other folding stem. The GlideFlex uses a beefy 5/8" diameter CNC machined pivot post, not an ordinary bolt, as the pivot. Parallel Squeeze technology and super sized friction disks provide over 10X the effective friction surface of any other stem. Wear is almost nonexistent, and the friction stays where you put it - year after year. Made in the USA. Product Notes: Steerer - Is the outside diameter of the fork steer tube on your bike Riser - Is the inside diameter of the riser that you will be using. Example: 1 1/8" steerer/1" riser would work with a 1 1/8" fork steer tube and a 1" (inside diameter) riser.
