PALS and MOLLE webbing is a grid of horizontal loops, which is excellent for mounting pouches and useless for attaching anything that ends in a buckle. The T-Ring Adapter is the br idge: it threads behind the webbing and gives you a hard attachment point where there was only a loop, so straps, buckles and clips can go where the grid is. It is made from heavy-duty webbing and mounts behind the MOLLE, so the load is carried by the panel rather than by a single strap of fabric.
