For a simple matching game, place the ten bills pieces face down. Learners take turns flipping over two pieces, looking to match a front with a back. Got a match? Keep those pieces. No match? Flip them back over. Play moves to the next player. VARIATION: Spread the coins and bills out on a table. Have kids work individually or in teams to find matches of fronts and backs. For an extra challenge, ask them to find matches that include the front, back, and number and word labels. Play Store – Gather a variety of items – school supplies, canned goods, stuffed animals – and display them in a center or for all to see.
