Walk the journey to 100 days of school. The set includes enough stones to skip count by 5s all the way to the 100-day finish line. Start by setting up your path. Write the day number on each stone, starting with 5, then 10, 15, 20, 25, and so on. The lamp posts or dragonflies can be used as important milestones and spots to reflect on what you’ve learned so far and what’s upcoming. At the end of each week, use one of the hedgehogs to walk one stone closer to the finish line and your 100th day celebration! Goal Getters! Set up a fundraising display with your Stepping Stones Learning Set. Arrange the stones in a path shape of your choice and use the bench as your finish line. Add your goal donation amount on the bench (# of tickets sold, # of dollars raised, etc.). Then break down your goal by the number of stones you’ve used. Write the individual steps/milestones on each stone, such as $100 on the first stone, then $200, $300, $400, and so on.
