Description T4 DNA ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between adjacent 5′‑phosphate and 3′‑hydroxyl termini in both duplex DNA and RNA in an ATP‑dependent mann er. This enzyme joins DNA fragments with either cohesive or blunt termini as well as repairs single stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA, or DNA/RNA hybrids. Our engineered T4 DNA Ligase Plus has been engineered to improve the ligation rate of blunt‑end ligations.
