A rare table lamp, model 6931, produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Stockholm, first documented in the company's catalogue from 1928. The stem tapers elegantly in lacquered wood with oxidised brass fittings, raised on a circular brass base decorated with stamped star motifs and resting on three small feet. A quintessential example of Swedish Grace. Designed under the watch of artistic director Harald Notini, who during his tenure drove the company's design office forward, producing what were considered at the time to be ground-breaking and distinctive fixtures.Paired with a new white linen shade.ConditionIn fine vintage condition. Their pieces, ranging from chandeliers and pendants to wall sconces, were known for combining superior craftsmanship with the prevailing design currents of the time, from Art Nouveau through Swedish Grace and into Scandinavian Modern.
