Florence Provencher-Proulx originally worked in fashion as a designer and creative director. In 2020, she co-founded Bruises Gallery, bringing together contemporary art and collect ibles from diverse eras. Creating narratives has been central to her practice, whether through curatorial work or through still life scenography. Her metal works extend this approach, primarily using reclaimed steel to design objects and furniture that oscillate between decorative art and functional sculpture, imbued with a dreamlike and theatrical quality.
