Our Tactical Deployment Collar is made from our Premium Leather. It is 2 inches wide so that the pressure on the dogs neck is kept very low. Inside the collar is lined with Saddle Felt which takes impact off the dogs neck and stops collar sliding around. There are loads of this type of collar available but we found that the control handle is always near the buckle, and this means that the handle ends up under the dogs neck. Our unique design has the buckle opposite the handle, so the buckle sits under the dogs chin, keeping the handle up high where you can grab it. We have also added a leash connector snap under the handle so if you have your leash hooked to this collar, again the handle is kept up the top. The handle is used to control the dogs head in deployment, a must for Police Service Dogs, Military Working Dogs, Correctional Services dogs and Personal Protection dogs working in a populated environment. When checking for size, measure your dogs’ neck where you wish the collar to sit and from there you will be able to find your size.
