Overview TAG Green Stardust is a semi-transparent light green borosilicate color rod loaded with large aventurine crystals for bold, glittery sparkle in the flame. It’s a great “special effect” green for lampworking when you want a clean green base with an eye-catching, shimmering finish that reads almost dichro-like as it moves under light. Why this color Green Stardust stands out because the sparkle is not subtle—those larger aventurine particles create a lively, high-contrast twinkle that stays visible even in thicker gathers. It also plays well as an accent or overlay, adding sparkle to other colors without completely overpowering the underlying tone. Best uses Layering over ambers, purples, and other transparent colors to add shimmer Accent lines, stringer work, and decorative wraps where sparkle needs to pop Small blown components and sculptural details that benefit from movement and flash Backing or framing sections of a piece to create a “glitter edge” effect Related items TAG Blue Stardust Rod TAG Light Blue Stardust Rod TAG Shooting Star Rod
