Each creation captures the essence of this beloved destination, reflecting its crystal-clear waters and natural beauty. Wear a piece of Lake Tahoe and keep its magic close to your heart. The process begins by creating a custom glass stack, consisting of three layers of glass, including glass frit. Sand from Lake Tahoe is added into the center to ensure it's securely encased. The glass is then fired in a kiln. Once finished, the shapes are drilled or cut and hand-ground into the perfect shape. The pieces are then placed back into the kiln for a fire polish, making them clear and shiny again. Finally, they are glued or strung using high-quality materials like sterling silver and 14k gold-filled. These sterling silver and gold filled hoops are handmade by me! Each piece of glass is completely unique and varies in color, ensuring that every item is one-of-a-kind.
