Tailgate assist supplied installed at our fully insured Edinburgh workshop. Allows 1 finger closing of the weighty tailgate. Allows one handed opening of the tailgate with a soft c ontrolled drop. Uses a tried, tested and proven damper from the world recognised and trusted Stabilus organisation in Germany. Product is anti-corrosion treated. The tailgate lift uses a Japanese torsion bar set-up to assist upward lift by reducing the tailgates weight by 70% this reduces the effort required to close the tailgate – very reliable. Typically a pick-up trucks tailgate weighs anything from 18-23kgs. The tailgate lift dramatically reduces this. It also features the well established soft opening principle using a stabilus damper.
