Brianna Lance’s latest series explores the fragile balance inherent in the human experience. Whether facing the fear of one’s bubble bursting or the hesitation to step beyond the c omfort it provides, each state of being is separated by only the thinnest of boundaries. These paintings capture suspended moments in time, offering a glimpse at the larger narrative. Like bubbles drifting through the air, life itself remains both ephemeral and delicately beautiful. In Lance's words:This series deals with the fragile balance we are constantly in as people. You can be worried about your bubble bursting, or worried about stepping out of the comfort you are in, either way there is a thin layer between one human state to the next.
