Lushly orchestrated, "Takin' My Time With You" has the additional benefit of being an awesome 'modern soul' dance record, a track largely undiscovered until recently and now heavily in demand. The original 7" released in 1976 is impossible to find and has exchanged hands for £500. Maureen Bailey is from and was contracated as a songwriter with Motown.
