To further enhance the benefits for delicate facial skin, we’ve incorporated our favourite therapeutic essential oils to help calm inflammation and regenerate skin cells. SKIN TYPES: Because it closely resembles our own skin’s sebum, Prairie Farmapothecary Face Tallow Balm is beneficial for all skin types, especially skin in need of an extra boost of protection, soothing moisture. Naturally high in vitamins and fatty acids, it’s ideal for gracefully aging skin with wrinkles or age spots. The non-comedogenic properties make it suitable even for acne and blemish prone skin. TEXTURE: Prairie Farmapothecary Face Tallow Balm is whipped into a smooth, dreamy cream. Only a small amount of product is needed with each use. If it experiences warm temperatures, the tallow will liquify. This doesn’t affect the beneficial properties of the ingredients. Simply let it harden again at room temperature or in a refrigerator. SCENT: Our Face Tallow Balm smells softly floral due to the lavender and rose geranium therapeutic essential oils. You will also experience the balsamic, sweet undertones of frankincense. ABOUT TALLOW: Uniquely compatible to our own skin's biology, tallow is comprised of 50% saturated fat. Our skin's cell membranes are also composed of 50% saturated fat, which makes tallow a nourishing food for our skin. Grass-fed tallow is also loaded with vitamins A, D, E, and K.
